Apple Cider Vinegar assists healing

If you do not have a heat pad available, the next item to reach for to control the itch from insect bites is Apple Cider Vinegar.

Doesn’t matter the nature of the bite, it seems to assist them all. Of course if you are allergic to a bite or it becomes infected, you should seek medical assistance.

Lately my go-to product for burns is also Apple Cider Vinegar.

It is easily available at supermarkets. Do not think white or brown or any other type of vinegar is the same.

Apple Cider Vinegar comes from a variety of manufacturers, but the label should include – Organic, Raw, Unfiltered, With the ‘Mother’ or Contains the ‘Mother’ or similar.

Very good for Sunburn

Not only great for sunburn – but any type of burn.

I recently badly burnt my finger on an oven tray. Yes, we all do really stupid things. The first thing for a burn is to run it under cold water to immediately cool down the skin.

Then I poured some Apple Cider Vinegar into a cup and sat with my finger soaking for maybe an hour. After that I dabbed some Liquid Band Aid over the burn. The amazing thing was I never experienced any further pain and the skin healed up without any problems.

Larger burn treatment

If you or anyone around you gets a large limb or body burn – stand under a cold shower or get into a bath of cold water. You will survive the cold water but you might not survive the burn!

An ambulance should be called or nearest hospital notified assistance with a burn victim is required.

But let’s return to Apple Cider Vinegar.

Too many to list here

You can dab it or splash it on any area that requires treatment.

It can be used as an underarm deodorant, or dab it on smelly feet.

Over the internet you will find articles with heaps of uses for the Vinegar. So look around and try them all.
